In one month, mobile internet subscribers increased by 34 lakh, SIM subscribers by 11 lakh
In the last month, the number of mobile internet subscribers has increased by 34 lakh. During the same period, the number of mobile subscribers has increased by 11 lakh 40 thousand.
This has been found by analyzing the data for the month of June given by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission BTRC.
According to the BTRC, in May this year, there were 10 crore 75 lakh mobile internet users in the country, which was 11 crore 9 lakh at the end of June. On the other hand, the total number of SIM users in the country in May was 17 crore 52 lakh 70 thousand. Which has been 17 crore 64 lakh 10 thousand at the end of June.
In one month, Grameenphone's subscribers have increased by 490,000, Robi's by 260,000, Banglalink's by 230,000 and Teletalk's by 160,000.
Meanwhile, the number of broadband internet users has increased by 240,000 in one month. At the end of May, there were 98 lakh 10 thousand broadband internet users which were one crore 50 thousand at the end of June.
